White Rose Productions was founded in 1993 by UCF graduate Derek Clark. While attending UCF, Derek worked in catering at the UCF Holiday Inn. His work experience led him to observe many wedding receptions and the different types of vendors that attended. Derek noticed the lack of communication between the vendors, which he felt was crucial to keeping a reception running smoothly. With this idea in mind, Derek thought it was the job of the MC to coordinate the events of the reception, thereby creating White Rose Productions. Derek's main goal in the creation of the company was to offer clients tasteful entertainment with an attention to detail to keep the event running smoothly. Success came quickly and Derek and White Rose Productions became one of Central Florida's most respected wedding professionals. In 1998, Jeff VerSchage was promoted to Director of Operations and took over the company almost two years later.

Since then, our staff has grown to more than 13 DJ's, which allows us to provide a wide variety of talents in order to better serve our clients in music styles and personalities. Plus, our large staff gives the added security of knowing that there are backup DJ's, not just backup equipment. Because of the reputation White Rose has in the marketplace, we are able to attract a better quality of entertainer. As a result of bringing on this caliber DJ and continuing our high standards of training and attention to detail, we have been able to increase our quality and raise our value to you.

Weddings make up the vast majority of the engagements we are privileged to attend, and have become what we are best known for. As the number of functions increase every year (we have now attended over 2500 receptions!), our level of commitment and attention to customer service still remains the industries highest.

In order to do this, we have created the Reception Planning Guide, which gives you a place to put your thoughts, concerns, and ideas on paper, and helps us make your day just the way you envision it. We use our combined experience and knowledge to ask all the important questions that brides- and grooms- to- be need to answer. We take the answers you give us and create a schedule of events to give to the photographer, videographer, catering manager, room captain, or other vendors on the day of your event. This useful resource keeps you and all of your service providers involved in your special day in order to coordinate and avoid embarrassment.
