I was raised in Rochester, New York,
where I began DJing at the age of eleven at my high school radio
station. From there I began DJing at bars and nightclubs, which then
turned into private parties. I entertained at over 500 events while
living in New York, mainly consisting of corporate parties for such
companies such as Xerox, Kodak, Trane, Rochester Gas & Electric, and
Rochester Tel. I became a regular part of their parties because I made
sure that everyone was dancing and had a wonderful time. Those who had
seen me at their company parties began approaching me to do their
wedding receptions. Therefore, my weekends consisted of weddings and
corporate events, while my weeknights were spent spinning at the nightclubs.
In 1998 I decided to abandon the cold
snowy weather of New York and moved to sunny Florida. I did some
market research before moving to Orlando by asking local wedding
vendors, such as country clubs, hotels, and photographers, which DJ
services they recommended, where I was referred to White Rose
Productions. When I first met with Derek Clark, I found that our style
and ideas were similar. I knew I had found what I was looking for, a home for my more than 17 years of experience and knowledge.
In June of 1998 I was promoted to
Director of Operations because of my creativity, honesty, and my
personal commitment to each and every client. Shortly thereafter on
January 1, 2001 I purchased the company. When I took over in 1998, one
of the first things I did was to make sure that clients could find me,
or the White Rose Staff, at any time. As well as being accessible, we
are very flexible to be available to meet with clients in our office.
Once you come into our office you will be greeted by hundreds of
comment cards from clients that thank us for making their wedding
reception the most special day of their lives. I am proud to say that
I, and my company, have truly touched lives.
Another important aspect of this
company is our attention to detail. We have designed the White Rose
Reception Planning Guide, which allows you to put your thoughts,
concerns, and ideas on paper so that we can make your day everything
that you envision. Your answers allow us to create a schedule of
events so that we can coordinate with the other vendors and help make
your day run as smoothly as possible. Our creativity, attention to
detail, and professionalism are only some of the qualities that help
us create a balance of elegance and fun for your most important day.
As our business grows, we constantly
strive to meet and exceed our client's expectations by providing
outstanding customer service. I now offer my experience of more than
20 years and 1000 wedding receptions in order to customize your day to
make it just the way you envision. I have served on the board of
directors for the Wedding Professionals of Central Florida and have a
great knowledge of the industry, therefore I can recommend clients to
other reputable vendors who can help meet their needs.
